Following the conclusion of the 2023 League of Legends World Championship and Gen.G's failure to reach the semi-finals, the esports organization has opted to release virtually its entire League team. Currently, only Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan remains in the active line-up.

Team members Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon, Han "Peanut" Wang-ho, Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon, Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong, Kim "Museong" Moo-seong, head coach Go "Score" Dong-bin and coach Won "Mafa" Sang-yeon have all been let go. This comes as their contracts have ended. However, there is potential for their return to Gen.G next year if the team chooses to re-sign them during the offseason.
